Te 1

We were all discussing seriously
about the impeccable call of life
and our inability to receive the same
with our mobile phones.
He pulled one of us out and said,
showing her the night sky,
'too many stars'.
She smiled.
So did we
with the then discovery of a new window
to look at the universe.
I am not sure if that star
was shining a bit brighter then.

moon-tree . . .

clear sky of
the rain-stopped-night.
the tree in front
hides the moon
that has just come out
of the clouds.

looking at the moon
through the leaves
you are asking,
'is the moon grown
in the tree?'.

as i smile at you in silence
you take my hand in yours
to say
'no, the tree has grown in the moon'.

you too start smiling
with that revelation
as my space gets
filled with
the moon-tree.

ichhe daana . . .

The wings of wishes
that flew from your
night's sky,
reached the branch
of my early morning
to tell the stories
of wishes
that are fulfilled
yet not.

... the wind is back

The time passed through a motionless summer.
Finally, the monsoon brought back the wind to my sky.
There starts an endless chatting of the leaves
and a timeless rain,
which would now restore my rivers.
Of course, the sea is still beyond the reach...
